Dehradun. On Thursday, officers of Secretariat learnt the lessons of project management. Mr. Upendra Giri, CEO AstroWix corporation said that progect management is getting adopted very fast. China is leading the way.

Mr. Subhash Kumar inaugurated the workshop organized by Training Directorate of PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry Uttrakahand. Mr. Anil Taneja, Director (Uttrakhand) PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry Uttrakahand said that project management is the science of finishing of the working. To accomplish any project, thorough estimation is necessary and procedures should be changed according to the requirement. If such perception towards projects is not there, than, project cost may also go up and government may suffer loss. Project management procedures should be viewed as effort to inculcate culture and values to the organization.

Mr. Upendra Giri, CEO, AstroWix, as chief speaker gave participants information about the insights of project management. ‘The need for improvement is being felt’, he said. It is getting accepted all over the world now. Its importance is very well understood in China. In last few years, nearly 200 project management colleges were established.
It is expected that it will gain awareness in India also. T K pant, Director, Training Directorate told that workshop was organized with an intention to develop the perception towards constant development. It’s been  told that with the support of  NISG, Management Training Institute is trying to start this movement. Approximately 36 officers participated in the workshop.
