“Setting Global Benchmark in Project Management” was organized to enlighten professionals on the importance of project management and how it can help organizations create a roadmap to achieve business results. Organized by Jamia Millia Islamia, the event was supported by AstroWix Corporation as a Knowledge Partner and featured experts on the domain of Project Management.
The event started with Recitation of Quran by continuing traditional way of Jamia Millia Islamia. After initial reading of Quran, the key note & session was delivered by Mr.Upendra Giri, CEO of AstroWix Corporation. Referring to the current business scenario, he said, “The management of projects in this high risk business arena brings its own unique set of challenges and requirements. In order to overcome these problems and challenges, professionals needs to have a proper knowledge of effective project management.” He further emphasized upon the significance of project management and the role AstroWix plays for promoting the discipline of Project management in various industry verticals across the world.
The evening was further made more interesting with views and experiences shared by Punit Modhgil, Director Marketing, Microsoft Enterprise and Public Sector segments, India. The event presided by Mr.Khursheed Yusuf, a Jamiaets, civil engineer & director of Al mezan trading company, finally expressed his thanks to all participants, facilitators, mentors, distinguished guests & Dubai Grand hotel for their support & promised to continue with the inclination to enlighten professionals.
The event proved to an ideal platform for networking among the professionals from various verticals and industries to discover “how project management can be a common thread in bringing businesses together”. The event received a huge response from more than 150 project management professionals, most of who were overwhelmed by such a professional environment and urged to have similar events in future.
