A 3 daylong Project Management session was organized at the Karnataka State Police headquarters for the police officials from all over the country. This session helped the officials to streamline the 6 Micro Mission projects under the National Police Mission initiated by the Government of India for the transformation of police departments. National Police Mission has been established with the objective to equip the police to think creatively and help it to transform itself from a reactive to a proactive organization.

To carry out this task, the 3 daylong session helped high ranked police officials of IG and DG level to chalk out plans for the execution of their various projects. An expert team of 10 people from AstroWix interacted with the officials to come out with strategies, plans and projects for the 6 Micro Missions - Human Resource Development, Community Policing, Communication and Technology, Infrastructure, New Processes and Proactive Policing and Visualizing future. A website has been created for the same, helping members with easy communication and collaboration to manage the project intricacies. This initiative will enable the implementation and execution of projects at a much faster pace.

The session turned out to be an eye opening experience for the senior officials of the police department from all over the country. Many such programs in other states of India will follow in the coming days.
